The front desk attendant greeted me with, yes, instead of a simple, how can I help you. The lady gave me the key to my room, and I proceeded to take the elevator with my kids to the second floor of the hotel. As soon as we exited the elevator the smell of cigarette smoke was unbearable. Then I was given a room on the fourth floor of the hotel. That hallway did not smell as much as the hallway in the second floor. The room was impregnated with the smell of carpet deodorant. They put so much carpet deodorant on it that I got a headache from the smell of it. The bed that I slept in had a dent right in the middle. The sheets in my kids bed had holes from cigarette burns. As I was exiting the hotel to go visit my sister I heard another guest complaining about the smell in the hallways. It was a nightmare, I felt bad for my kids that they had to stay there. Traveling as Couple
Asked on reservation for non smoking room and reservation showed it, but was put on a smoking floor and smoking room. Desk clerk was not helpful and did nothing to help us, with a bad attitude.
